Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role is vital in providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their needs are met efficiently and professionally. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, POS systems, and cash handling, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Previous barista or food industry experience is a plus, along with excellent time management skills. This position offers an engaging environment where teamwork and communication are essential to success.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist with their orders in a courteous manner
  • Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and payments
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering duties
  • Prepare food and beverages following safety and quality standards, including food handling and food safety protocols
  • Serve food and drinks in a timely manner, ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations
  • Manage multiple tasks effectively using strong time management skills
  • Provide information about menu items and answer customer inquiries professionally
  • Assist with basic food preparation as needed to support team operations

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or related roles such as barista or serving is preferred
  • Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations for transactions
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
  • Ability to communicate with the clients in French and English
  • Ability to work well within a team environment and communicate effectively
  • Previous experience with food preparation or food industry operations is a plus
