Position Overview:

MuslimMoms.Ca is a federally incorporated not-for-profit organization in Canada dedicated to supporting the mental, emotional, and economic well-being of Muslim mothers through community connections, training, and practical resources. What began as a small circle of mothers offering each other support has grown into a trusted nationwide network of more than 100,000 members. Our programs focus on empowerment, faith, and sisterhood—helping Muslim women strengthen their families, their communities, and their futures. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of program management processes,

excellent communication and coordination skills, and a genuine passion for advancing the mission and values of MuslimMoms.Ca.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Planning and Implementation

 Develop, plan, and manage community programs and initiatives aligned with MuslimMoms.Ca mission.

 Coordinate program timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure successful execution.

 Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring adherence to program goals and outcomes.

 Maintain detailed and accurate records of program activities, participants, and outcomes.

Coordination and Collaboration

 Work closely with cross-functional teams, volunteers, and community partners to ensure

smooth program delivery.

 Support effective communication and alignment across departments or working groups.

 Facilitate team meetings, monitor progress, and address challenges proactively.

Monitoring and Evaluation

 Track performance indicators and program milestones.

 Prepare progress and impact reports for leadership and donors.

 Recommend improvements based on feedback and program data.

Community and Stakeholder Engagement

 Build relationships with community members, partner organizations, and participants.

 Represent MuslimMoms.Ca at events, outreach initiatives, and online forums.

 Promote inclusivity, empathy, and kindness in all interactions.

Qualifications & Skills
:

 Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Nonprofit Management, Community Development, or a related field.

 0-3 years of experience in program management or community-based project coordination.

 Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

 Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, demonstrating professionalism and clarity.

 Kindness, patience, and empathy when engaging with diverse community members.

 Commitment to MuslimMoms.Ca mission, vision, and values.

 Demonstrated integrity and discretion when handling sensitive or confidential information.

 Reliable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

 Ability to maintain accurate records and attention to detail.

 Availability of 10–15 hours per week.
