Collections Representative – Client Success (1 Year Term)
Location: In Office | Calgary, AB
Quantifi Lending Inc.
is a full spectrum non-prime automotive lender. We are a leading alternative lender that uses innovative technology to create loans tailored to our client's unique financial situations. We look beyond traditional credit scores to make lending more personal and accessible.
Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated, creative problem solver to join our Calgary office as a Collections Representative for a 1 year maternity leave term, with the potential to turn into a permanent full-time position. In this highly interactive role, you will communicate directly with clients via phone, text and email, whose loan payments have become past due. Your primary focus will be to help clients identify and overcome obstacles so they can get caught up on payments, retain their vehicles, and maintain a positive relationship with Quantifi Lending.
At Quantifi, we do collections differently. We don't believe in aggressive or rigid techniques. Instead, our goal is to work collaboratively with our clients to find workable solutions, prioritize customer service, and help clients avoid repossessions wherever possible. If you are a quick learner who thrives on new challenges, enjoys thinking outside the box, and want to grow your business skills while making a positive impact – we want to hear from you
Responsibilities
- Communicate directly with clients using phone, text and email to understand their individual circumstances and work together toward a payment solution.
- Build trust with clients by listening empathetically, maintaining professionalism, and always delivering a positive customer experience.
- Negotiate and establish payment arrangements that support both the client's situation and company objectives.
- Balance empathy with the need for timely debt recovery, always seeking out solutions that avoid repossession whenever possible.
- Make sound, cost-effective decisions about collection actions and escalate issues as necessary.
- Identify opportunities to help and retain clients who have become delinquent, supporting them to get back on track.
- Suggest new ideas to improve our client outreach and collections success as part of the team.
What You Bring
- Eagerness to learn and a strong ability to quickly master new concepts and skills.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with a professional and empathetic approach in client interaction.
- Creative thinking, resourcefulness, and comfort proposing new ideas or approaches to solve problems.
- Highly organized, dependable and detail oriented.
- Exceptionally gritty and hardworking; shows perseverance and resilience, even when faced with obstacles.
- Business or related university degree is valued but not required.
- Interest in using technology and learning new software tools.
Why Join Us?
- Full training and ongoing mentorship – no previous collections experience is required.
- Competitive compensation with opportunities for performance bonuses.
- Comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental coverage.
- Opportunity to move into a permanent role after the term, as our team continues to grow.
- Work in a collaborative, innovative team that values your input and celebrates team successes.
