Job Summary

Adding value to our customer relationships in the architectural and Construction communities by consulting on specification and installation of window and door systems. This role partners with architects, designers, developers, and builders to position high-performance fenestration solutions into commercial and residential projects from early design through construction and closeout.

Duties

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, specifiers, designers, developers, and builders focused on window and door systems.
  • Influence product selection and specifications at the design and pre-construction stages.
  • Identify, qualify, and manage a pipeline of architectural projects involving windows, doors, and related glazing systems.
  • Provide technical consultation on performance requirements, including thermal efficiency, structural performance, acoustics, air and water infiltration, and code compliance.
  • Conduct product presentations, lunch-and-learns, and design reviews to support specification efforts.
  • Review architectural drawings, schedules, and specifications to ensure accurate product application and compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal estimating, engineering, and operations teams to support quotations, submittals, and project execution.
  • Support pricing strategies, value engineering efforts, and bid negotiations.
  • Track projects through CRM systems and provide accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, specifiers, designers, developers, and builders focused on window and door systems.
  • Stay current on building codes, energy standards, and industry trends affecting window and door products.
  • Consult with leadership teams to assist in the hiring of additional personnel to account for the growth in business

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum experience in architectural specification sales or project sales within windows, doors, glazing, or related building envelope products.
  • Working knowledge of fenestration systems, materials (aluminum, wood, vinyl, fiberglass), and performance standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings, specifications, and schedules.
  • Strong consultative selling, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • High level of organization with the ability to manage long-cycle, multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Proficiency with CRM and standard business productivity tools.
  • Previous experience with Marvin Windows and Doors considered beneficial

Pay: $80,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
