Overview
The Real Estate and Property Leasing Specialist will be responsible for the end-to-end management of all properties held under the company's real estate portfolio. The role involves a balance of tenant management, and strategic real estate planning majorly including market research and lease negotiations.
The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for all property-related matters and will work closely with contractors, tenants, vendors, legal advisors, and local authorities to maintain and enhance the value of the company's real estate assets.
Key Responsibilities:
Tenant & Lease Management
- Serve as the main point of contact for tenants across all properties.
- Negotiate, draft, and renew lease agreements in collaboration with legal and executive teams.
- Manage rent collection, lease compliance, and occupancy levels to maximize portfolio profitability.
- Address tenant concerns promptly and maintain strong, professional relationships.
- Maintain accurate property records, leases, contracts, and compliance documentation.
- Ensure 100% tenant vacancy across all properties.
Real Estate Strategy & Market Research
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks within the real estate market.
- Support ownership in evaluating acquisition, disposition, and development opportunities.
- Coordinate appraisals, valuations, and due diligence for new investments or property sales.
Build and maintain relationships with brokers, developers, and municipal agencies.
Bachelor's degree in real estate, Business Administration, Property Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in property and/or real estate portfolio management, ideally covering multiple asset types.
- Proven experience managing industrial and commercial properties is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of real estate markets, valuation, leasing structures, and investment analysis.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret lease agreements, contracts, and financial reports.
- Proficient with property management systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, handle multiple priorities, and make sound decisions.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally between properties as required.
