Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Software Engineer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions across various platforms. The Software Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient software products that meet business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and deploy robust web applications using technologies such as JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, C#, Python, and .NET.
  • Design and implement backend services and APIs utilizing RESTful principles, SQL databases (MySQL, SQL), and cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
  • Contribute to front-end development efforts to create intuitive user interfaces and enhance user experience.
  • Collaborate within Agile teams to plan sprints, review code via SVN or GitHub repositories, and ensure continuous integration and delivery.
  • Maintain and improve existing applications by troubleshooting issues, optimizing performance, and implementing new features.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to industry best practices for software development.
  • Participate in code reviews, system design discussions, and technical documentation to support team knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in software development with proficiency in multiple programming languages including Java, C++, C#, Python, Ruby on Rails, VBA, or Linux scripting.
  • Strong understanding of web development frameworks, APIs, RESTful services, and front-end technologies such as JavaScript.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL databases like MySQL or SQL Server; familiarity with database design and optimization.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for application deployment and management.
  • Familiarity with version control systems including GitHub, Git, SVN for source code management.
  • Experience working within Agile methodologies to facilitate iterative development cycles.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Nice-to-have skills include experience with application development on Linux environments, .NET framework expertise, API integration skills, and familiarity with VBA scripting.
