Description
- Lead and manage all plant operations to meet production goals and quality standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize manufacturing processes and improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with the Engineering & Manufacturing department to address production challenges.
- Monitor budgets, costs, and resource allocation to maintain profitability.
- Supervise and mentor plant staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Oversee maintenance schedules to ensure equipment reliability and minimal downtime.
- Prepare and present operational reports to senior management.

Profile
A successful Plant Manager - Metals Fabrication should have:
- Strong knowledge of metals fabrication processes within the Industrial / Manufacturing industry - 10 years of experience in metal fabrication including supervisory and leadership roles is required
- Strong technical understanding of fabrication, welding, and blueprint reading
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate diverse teams and production schedules under tight deadlines.
- Experience in implementing process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Proficiency in budget management and resource allocation.
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
