Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Estimator Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the construction estimating process, ensuring that all estimates are accurate and submitted in a timely manner. You will collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to build comprehensive estimates that support our project goals.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage detailed construction estimates for various projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers to gather necessary information for bids.
  • Analyze blueprints and specifications to identify project requirements and costs.
  • Negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers to secure the best value for projects.
  • Maintain organized records of estimates, changes, and communications throughout the bidding process.
  • Assist in project management tasks as needed, ensuring seamless coordination between estimating and execution teams.
  • Schedule subcontractors.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of construction estimating principles and practices.
  • Excellent negotiation skills to effectively communicate with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Solid project management abilities to oversee multiple estimates simultaneously.
