Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled
Mobile Device Management (MDM) Specialist
with strong hands-on experience in
VMware Workspace ONE
, Apple iOS, Windows, MacOS, and Android device management. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical knowledge, strong troubleshooting abilities, and exceptional communication skills, especially when working with ELT/VIP/VVIP stakeholders. This role requires excellent escalation handling, documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, administer, and manage mobile devices using
VMware Workspace ONE MDM
. - Manage and support
Apple iOS, Windows, MacOS, and Android
devices within the enterprise environment. - Work with enrollment and provisioning technologies such as:
- Samsung KNOX
,
Apple DEP
,
Android Zero-Touch
,
Gorilla
,
Munki
. - Support and troubleshoot issues involving mobile platforms, profiles, policies, and app deployments.
- Preferred experience with additional MDM solutions:
- MobileIron
,
Microsoft Intune
,
Google Device Management
. - Utilize technical knowledge of
GIT, Chef, TCP/IP, SSL, HTTP error troubleshooting, and API call analysis
. - Manage high-priority escalations and communicate updates effectively with
Executive Leadership Team (ELT), VIP, and VVIP users
. - Create and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
- Collaborate closely with Security, Infrastructure, Engineering, and Support teams to resolve issues and improve device management operations.
Qualifications
- 5–10+ years of experience in
MDM administration
or enterprise mobility support. - Strong hands-on experience with
VMware Workspace ONE
. - Excellent communication, customer service, and escalation management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
- VMware certifications
(Workspace ONE / AirWatch) are a strong plus. - Ability to work onsite in Toronto and support PST hours as required.
Additional Preferred Experience
- Experience with automation or scripting tools.
- Exposure to enterprise security, compliance, and device governance.
- Familiarity with packaging, app deployment, and OS lifecycle management.
