Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Independent Contractor to serve as a Client Operations Consultant I supporting our centralized workforce solutions. This is a remote contract-based opportunity for professionals located in Montreal, Quebec, with the flexibility to attend meetings at our Head Office in Kirkland as needed.

As an Independent Contractor, you will collaborate with our team and clients to deliver exceptional support in Human Resources, Client Services, and administrative operations. You will report to the Regional Account Manager and operate under a services agreement, maintaining autonomy over how services are delivered while meeting agreed-upon outcomes.

Scope of Work

Talent Solutions Support

  • Post job openings, screen candidates, and coordinate interviews.
  • Facilitate onboarding processes and documentation for new hires.
  • Liaise with clients to confirm staffing needs and ensure fulfillment.
  • Act as the primary contact for external workforce associates.
  • Manage timekeeping and administrative tasks via VMS platforms (e.g., SAP Fieldglass).
  • Respond to administrative inquiries from associates in a timely manner.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for internal and client use.
  • Support additional project-based tasks aligned with client goals.

Client, Program & Supplier Coordination

  • Monitor KPIs and SLAs to support continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a liaison for operational matters between clients and suppliers.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication.
  • Identify and address service delivery challenges proactively.
  • Conduct regular performance and satisfaction review calls.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of metrics and satisfaction data.
  • Review and process travel and expense documentation as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Background in recruitment, sourcing, customer service, or HR administration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with VMS platforms is a plus.
  • Experience in external workforce programs or MSP environments is highly desirable.
  • Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written).

Contractor Requirements

  • Must be based in Montreal, Quebec, with the ability to attend in-person meetings in Kirkland.
  • Fluent in French to comply with Bill 96 and effectively engage with local stakeholders
  • Familiarity with Canadian federal and provincial employment laws, including co-employment avoidance.
  • Ability to provide services independently and invoice for work performed.
  • Access to necessary tools and equipment to perform services remotely.

Physical Requirements

  • Regular use of computers and handling of digital documentation.
  • May involve standard physical activities such as sitting, standing, and walking.
