Job Summary:
The Sales & Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for managing the complete administration of sales transactions and material purchasing. This role ensures seamless coordination between procurement, sales, logistics, and inventory control while maintaining compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory and company QHSE standards and practices.
- Manage procurement activities, including sourcing and purchasing materials.
- Create and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders (POs).
- Execute purchasing transactions accurately in MySis and QuickBooks.
- Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships to support business needs.
- Assist with physical inventory organization and control.
- Collaborate with the production planning team for material forecasting and planning.
- Create and process sales orders and order acknowledgments.
- Complete all required shipping documentation and ensure timely deliveries.
- Coordinate logistics and prepare documentation for domestic and international shipments.
- Compile customer quality control packages.
- Manage invoicing and follow up on accounts receivable.
- Support sales and marketing initiatives to drive business growth.
- Work with engineering to develop and maintain technical product documentation, including manuals, specification sheets, and catalogues.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in a related field or a minimum of 3 years of relevant job experience.
- Previous experience in sales coordination, inventory management, and purchasing within a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with ERP or manufacturing software systems such as SAP, JDE, QuickBooks, or MySis.
Technical Skills & Core Competencies:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Familiarity with ISO and/or API manufacturing standards considered an asset.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to on-the-job learning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service orientation and relationship-building skills.
- Strong mathematical aptitude and critical thinking abilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
