We are looking for a Buyer who will play a key role in supporting the logistics operations through strategic purchasing and inventory management.

You'll ensure timely and accurate procurement of materials, maintain vendor relationships, and help drive operational efficiency across our distribution centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage purchase orders for direct shipments and distribution centers.
  • Maintain and update purchase orders in Navision, including cancellations and adjustments.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding order status and resolve discrepancies (e.g., pricing, quantity, PID issues).
  • Calculate and maintain accurate landed costs, including freight and tariffs.
  • Process vendor and customer returns, ensuring proper credits and approvals.
  • Monitor inventory levels and adjust purchasing strategies to avoid stockouts or overstock.
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and finance teams to align purchasing with business goals.
  • Support product launches and promotions with timely inventory availability.
  • Prepare inventory reports and assist in resolving invoice, delivery, or product quality issues.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.
  • +2 years of experience in purchasing or inventory management, ideally in logistics or distribution.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (Navision preferred) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with import/export regulations and vendor compliance is a plus.
