About Us

YYC Flooring Solutions is a Calgary-based leader in supplying and installing high-quality flooring products — including vinyl, hardwood, tile, and carpet — for both builders and homeowners. We pride ourselves on excellent service, strong builder relationships, and attention to detail. As our company continues to expand, we're looking for a motivated Sales Representative with solid experience in construction and outside sales to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct outside sales visits with builders, contractors, and renovation clients across Calgary and surrounding areas.
  • Manage existing builder accounts while developing new business opportunities.
  • Greet walk-in clients in the showroom and guide them through flooring selections.
  • Prepare and deliver professional quotes, product recommendations, and follow-ups.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitor pricing, and new product lines.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of proven sales experience in the construction, renovation, or building materials industry.
  • Strong understanding of flooring, home building, or interior finishing is a major asset.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-driven, organized, and capable of managing both in-store and field sales.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required.
  • Proficiency with computers (email, CRM, Excel, etc.).
