The Opportunity:
The Branch Manager provides leadership and support for all aspects of the Branch: incorporating sound business management practices; mentoring sales staff; accountability for assets, budgets, profitability, and personnel; adherence to company policies; implementation of safe work practices; support of sales efforts and maintaining the desired level of service to both external and internal customers.
Scope of the Position
The eCommerce Development Specialist will play a pivotal role in driving RSL's digital transformation and omnichannel strategy. This position focuses on identifying and implementing innovative solutions to enhance customer experience, streamline operations, and open new markets through digital and omnichannel initiatives. The Specialist will act as a bridge between branches and the eCommerce team, ensuring alignment of goals, processes, and technologies to deliver a seamless customer journey across all channels. This role requires a forward-thinking individual who can manage projects, analyze business needs, and champion digital growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to enable omnichannel experiences across digital and physical touchpoints.
- Identify and lead innovative eCommerce projects that enhance customer engagement and operational efficiency.
- Explore and implement initiatives to open new markets using digital platforms and omnichannel solutions.
- Serve as the liaison between branches and the eCommerce team to ensure smooth communication and process integration.
- Analyze business processes and recommend improvements to bridge gaps between offline and online operations.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, IT, and Operations to align digital initiatives with overall business objectives.
- Manage project lifecycles including planning, execution, and performance tracking for new digital initiatives.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to propose forward-thinking solutions for business growth.
- Create documentation for processes, workflows, and best practices to support scalability and consistency.
- Provide actionable insights through data analysis to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Marketing, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in business development, eCommerce, digital strategy, or similar roles.
- Strong understanding of omnichannel strategies and digital customer experience.
- Experience managing projects and implementing innovative digital solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across departments.
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data, dataflow, and provide actionable insights.
- Experience working in ERP, eCommerce, and CMS systems.
- Knowledge of SEO, UX/UI principles, and digital marketing best practices is an asset.
- Strong product knowledge in the HVAC/R market is an asset.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and drive continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and business acumen.
