Tennis BC is the provincial governing body for tennis in British Columbia. As a not-for-profit organization, we deliver programs to support the growth and development of athletes, coaches, officials, clubs and events across the province.
OVERVIEW
Tennis BC currently operates 2 tennis facilities (Richmond Hub and Stanley Park Hub). Reporting to the Senior Director of Hub Operations, the Hub Operations & Programs Manager will be responsible for administering day-today operations, ensuring accurate billing for services, answering public questions about programming, and maintaining smooth processes at the Hub. They will also train and oversee front desk staff.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Answering phone and emails and delivering the requested information or assistance needed
• Create payment links for tennis instruction and ensure proper payment from students
• Ensure operating supplies are ordered and in supply
• Ability to track all program related revenues and inventory through our various systems
• Sit on the health and safety committee and ensure safety practices are in place and practiced
• Plan, organize and oversee course programming across adult classes, junior classes, and seasonal camps
• Book courts for tennis programs, private lessons, tournaments, and events
• Support all front desk staff with training, scheduling, and communication
QUALIFICATIONS
• Strong administration and organizational skills in planning and completing projects with set deadlines
• Strong computer skills with word, excel, and web-based platforms
• Up-to-date background/criminal record check
• Friendly, caring, outgoing, reliable, and punctual
• Ideal candidates should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a flexible schedule, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment
• Mandarin speaking is an asset
JOB SPECIFICS
• This is a full-time salaried position based at the Tennis BC Richmond Hub office
• Total compensation for this position is $55-60,000 based on experience and qualifications
