Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Upholstery Project Coordinator who can manage upholstery projects from initial planning to final completion. The ideal candidate must have the ability to read, interpret, and create technical drawings/blueprints, coordinate with production teams, manage schedules, and ensure projects are delivered on time with high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate upholstery production from start to finish, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Read, understand, and create/draft technical drawings for upholstery projects.
  • Communicate project specifications clearly to production, installation, and client teams.
  • Schedule material procurement, equipment, and resources required for projects.
  • Maintain project documentation, records, and status updates.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure accuracy and customer expectations are met.
  • Liaise with clients and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth workflow.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in upholstery, furniture manufacturing, or related industry (preferred).
  • Ability to read and create technical drawings (AutoCAD or similar software is an asset).
  • Strong coordination and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Valid work authorization in Canada.
