We achieve this by facilitating service management (ESM) with C2 ESM, a complete and innovative software solution, and enabling our client's transformation with the right cloud solutions. You will contribute to this goal by understanding your client's business goals and objectives and enabling their transformation with the right SAAS solution. Succeeding in this role involves attaining your monthly sales objectives. A full team will support you to achieve your objectives, including the VP of sales, pre-sales solution architects, project teams and solution analysts.

Here's what your day to day will look like

The Business Development Representative (BDR) will play a key role in expanding C2 ESM's footprint across Canada, with a focus on the public sector in Ontario and New Brunswick. This hybrid role blends outbound prospecting with early-stage sales execution, supporting pipeline generation and deal advancement. The BDR will collaborate closely with the Sales Engineer, Professional Services Analyst, and Marketing to drive engagement and qualify opportunities. This role is ideal for someone who is ready to grow into a full-cycle Account Executive, owning both new business acquisition and ongoing account management.

  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline through outbound prospecting, cold calls, email outreach, and social media engagement.
  • Qualify inbound leads from the website, webinars, and campaigns.
  • Conduct intro calls and basic demos using pre-configured environments and recorded assets.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to execute vertical-specific campaigns and maximize ROI.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and report on pipeline activity and conversion metrics.
  • Coordinate with internal resources (SE, PS analyst, product team) to support technical validation and onboarding.
  • Represent the customer's perspective and relay feedback to product and engineering teams.
  • Attend regional events and webinars to build awareness and generate leads.

Here's what you need to have and master to get the job

  • 3-5 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales or public sector outreach.
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.  French an asset.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong knowledge of SaaS, IaaS, or other cloud technologies.
  • Enterprise Service Management (ESM) knowledge and experience is considered an asset.
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Dynamics).
  • Familiarity with public sector procurement cycles is an asset.
  • Ability to run intro demos and qualify technical needs.
  • Customer-centric mindset with consultative selling approach.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel within assigned region (up to 25%).
