The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial maintenance and electrical systems, with a focus on ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our manufacturing operations. This position requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and equipment within the manufacturing facility.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to programmable logic controllers (PLCs), sensors, and low voltage systems.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to diagnose problems effectively.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure minimal downtime during maintenance activities.
- Utilize AutoCAD for creating and modifying electrical diagrams as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns related to electrical systems promptly.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment, including CNC machines, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance or as an industrial electrician is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and their applications in industrial settings.
- Proficient in reading schematics and understanding electrical systems.
- Experience with sensors, low voltage systems, and general electrical troubleshooting is essential.
- Previous exposure to CNC machinery is an advantage.
