Production Supervisor (Afternoon Shift)
Shift:
4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Are you a motivated leader with a strong background in manufacturing processes? We are seeking a
Production Supervisor
to oversee operations, mentor team members, and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency across the production floor.
About the Role:
As Production Supervisor, you'll lead a team to meet organizational goals, collaborate across departments, and drive continuous improvement. You'll play a key role in ensuring inventory and staffing levels align with demand while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.
Essential Duties & Tasks:
- Mentor, coach, and oversee team performance to meet safety, operational, and quality standards
- Contribute to setting goals and metrics aligned with organizational strategy
- Administer policies and procedures, recommending changes when needed
- Collaborate with Quality, Safety, Customer Service, Sales, Finance, Maintenance, and Product Development teams
- Identify needs, solve problems, and report effectively on issues
- Support inventory and staffing management to meet production demand
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications, Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3+ years of manufacturing (preferably within the packaging/print background) process experience with strong product and process knowledge
- Proven leadership experience with strong teamwork skills
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform moderately complex problem analysis
- Solid knowledge of production processes and manufacturing operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Visio, Teams, and Outlook
