Job description: Certified Dental Assistant level I or II (CDA I or II)

We are a 10+ year old established dental office with a growing patient base with a focus on patient care. Looking for a part-time certified dental assistant to join our friendly dental team

Conveniently located in the Newmarket/East Gwillimbury.

The hours we are looking for are:

Monday 12PM~8PM

Tuesday 1PM~8PM

Thursday 9:30AM~4PM

Two Saturdays a month 7:30AM to 2PM.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures

- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment

- Take dental x-rays

- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care

- Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring models and trimming trays

- Schedule patient appointments and maintain patient records

- Provide chairside assistance during procedures

Requirements

- Certified Dental Assistant level I or level II (completion of accredited dental assisting program)

- X-ray (HARP) certified

- Ability to commute/relocate to East Gwillimbury/Newmarket

- CPR certified (training will be provided if needed)

- IPAC certified (training will be provided if needed)

- WHMIS certified (training will be provided if needed)

Level of Experience

-Experience in implant dentistry is an asset

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $27.00-$31.00 per hour
