Summary

We are seeking a Senior IT Technician to join our dynamic team in North Vancouver. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your expertise to deliver top-notch IT support and ensure the seamless operation of our clients' technology systems, contributing significantly to our mission of excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced technical support for hardware and software issues.
  • Manage and maintain computer systems and networks for clients.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve desktop and IT infrastructure problems.
  • Assist with VPN setup and firewall configurations.
  • Collaborate with team members on software troubleshooting tasks.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service through effective communication.
  • Document issues and resolutions using BMC Remedy or ServiceNow.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies relevant to client needs.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in technical support or IT technician roles.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
  • Familiarity with computer networking concepts (LAN, VPN).
  • Experience with help desk software such as Jira or ServiceNow is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills for effective client interaction.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
