Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Electrician to join our team and gain hands-on experience in electrical systems within the construction and industrial sectors. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills under the supervision of experienced electricians. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, reliable, and committed to safety standards. This role involves working on various electrical projects, assisting with installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Assist licensed electricians in installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and construction settings
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform wiring, conduit bending, and component installation
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate project execution
- Work with low voltage systems as well as high voltage wiring under supervision
- Support the setup of electrical components according to specifications and safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures during daily tasks
Requirements
- Prior experience or familiarity with electrical work is preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, blueprint reading, and construction practices is advantageous
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and blueprint interpretation is desirable
- Ability to work safely around electrical equipment and adhere to safety guidelines
- Strong willingness to learn new skills on the job from experienced professionals
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment
This position provides valuable training opportunities for individuals interested in building a career in electrical trades.
The ideal candidate must be able to drive.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.94-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
