Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate caregiving services to clients in their homes.
  • Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare providers.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a recognized Canadian Health Care Aide program
  • Active HCA registration on the Alberta Healthcare Aide Directory
  • Current CPR / First Aid Certification / Equivalency required
  • A current and clear Criminal Records Check including Vulnerable Sector Search
  • Valid Driver's License and vehicle required
  • Previous Home Care experience an asset
  • Previous dementia experience is an asset
  • Ability and willingness to travel to and from Client's home within the city of Edmonton

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
