As we expand our remote team, we're seeking a motivated Immigration Case Worker who is not only detail-oriented and client-focused but also capable of leading and supporting a small team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit a variety of immigration applications (study permits, work permits, visitor visas, PR, sponsorships)
- Manage communications with clients to collect documents, clarify details, and provide updates
- Review case files for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with IRCC requirements
- Draft forms, support letters, and organize application packages
- Use our case management system to track file status, deadlines, and progress
- Lead and support a small team of junior staff or assistants as needed
- Provide training, guidance, and oversight on routine tasks
- Ensure high standards of client service and workflow efficiency across the team
- Keep updated on changes to Canadian immigration laws and procedures
- Lead a team of 3 caseworkers and quality check their work.
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of experience in immigration case processing or support (RCIC or legal office experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Canadian immigration programs and application processes
- Proven ability to lead, delegate, and collaborate within a small team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Must have a personal laptop and reliable high-speed Wi-Fi for remote work
- Proficiency in MS Office and immigration software
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in immigration, legal studies, or a related field preferred
- RCIC or paralegal certification is an asset, not mandatory
