What you will be doing

As a Senior iOS Developer, you will play a key role in building next-generation mobile applications that integrate directly with our IoT platforms and support millions of customers worldwide. You'll help shape mobile solutions that connect users with their Greenworks tools and services, ensuring seamless performance and superior user experiences.

• Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust, efficient, and scalable iOS applications using Swift and the iOS SDK.
• IoT Integration: Work closely with our IoT platform teams to build and maintain mobile features that connect with Greenworks devices, sensors, and cloud services.
• Cross-Platform Collaboration: Contribute to React Native initiatives for hybrid mobile experiences, ensuring alignment between native iOS and cross-platform development.
• Technical Leadership: Serve as a subject matter expert on iOS projects, providing guidance on best practices, architecture, and emerging technologies.
• Code Quality & Reviews: Participate actively in code reviews to ensure quality, performance, and reliability standards are met.
• Mentorship: Coach and mentor junior developers, encouraging continuous growth and knowledge sharing.
• Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (IoT, Backend, Product, Design, QA) to deliver connected solutions end to end.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize applications for speed, stability, and scalability, proactively identifying bottlenecks and proposing solutions.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed?

We'd love to work with you if you have:

• Experience: 5+ years of professional iOS development experience, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality apps to the App Store.
• Strong proficiency in Swift (Objective-C familiarity is a bonus).
• React Native experience with practical contributions to cross-platform projects.
• Experience integrating iOS applications with IoT platforms (BLE, MQTT, WebSocket, RESTful APIs).
• Deep understanding of iOS frameworks (UIKit, SwiftUI, Core Data, Core Animation, Core Bluetooth).
• Familiarity with iOS design patterns (MVC, MVVM, VIPER, etc.).
• Knowledge of Apple's Human Interface Guidelines and iOS design best practices.
• Proficiency with Xcode, CocoaPods / Swift Package Manager, Git, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and UI testing.
• Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to lead and work collaboratively in a team environment.
