Job Description:
Senior Digital Product Designer role at Wealth Management focuses on delivering world-class digital experiences for clients through strategy, research, design principles, and technical innovation.
Product designers shape experiences across digital products, specializing in native mobile design for iOS and Android, leveraging design systems, and incorporating research for data-driven decisions.
The position involves collaboration in agile environments from idea generation to implementation to delight users.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Understand user interface patterns and behaviors to drive comprehension and task performance.
Use visualizations and interactions to support analytic thinking with large data sets.
Facilitate design critique, evaluate interactions for inclusivity, and provide expert advice to cross-functional teams.
Facilitate ideation sessions and collaborative work activities.
Create complex low-fidelity sketches, wireframes, and prototypes to explore, communicate, and validate ideas.
Create complex prototypes for development specifications and present work to senior stakeholders.
Collaborate on research discussions, user testing, and data analysis with Design Researchers and Product stakeholders.
Facilitate usability testing, initiate research activities, and perform competitive audits in financial services.
Must Have:
BA/BS degree in Design (e.g., interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial, HCI, CS) or equivalent experience.
Portfolio with application design samples.
Minimum 5 years experience designing web and native mobile applications.
Strong technical understanding of iOS and Android platforms.
Strong understanding of design systems.
Experience in applied research settings, integrating user research into designs.
Ability to articulate design strategy, rationale, benefits, and risks.
Expertise with tools like Figma, Mural, UserTesting.com, Alida, Maze.
Nice to Have:
Experience designing authenticated experiences for self-directed trading.
MA/MS degree or certification in relevant Design or CS fields.
Strong understanding of research methods and their application across product phases.
Appreciation for design thinking potential.
Experience in large organizations and agile environments.
