Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman/Cleaner to join our team at a condo building.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities maintenance and customer service, with the ability to independently manage a variety of repair and upkeep tasks. This individual will play a key role in ensuring the building remains safe, clean, and fully operational at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and fixtures
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify areas requiring attention or repair
  • Fabricate and install components as needed to ensure full functionality
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including materials used and time spent
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues and provide effective solutions
  • Handle minor drywall, wallpaper, and painting jobs
  • Perform some cleaning duties as required

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
  • Solid mechanical knowledge with hands-on repair and installation experience
  • Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in English is required
  • Must have a valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle
  • Must live within a 20-minute drive of the condo building

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.50 per hour
