Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations while maintaining excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing your driving skills and warehouse experience to ensure timely deliveries and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods between warehouses, distribution centers, and customer locations
  • Load and unload cargo using forklifts or manual handling, ensuring proper securing of loads
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered
  • Assist with moving inventory within warehouses using forklifts or other equipment as needed
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in accordance with company policies
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation duties

Requirements

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
  • Experience in commercial driving, including long-haul or local routes
  • Warehouse experience preferred, including familiarity with forklift operation and inventory movement
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and handle physically demanding tasks
  • Strong communication skills for effective coordination with team members and customers
  • Proven ability to provide excellent customer service during deliveries
  • Knowledge of safety procedures related to moving cargo and operating heavy equipment
  • Reliable transportation to reach the workplace daily
