Maple Shores Health Centre is recruiting a full-time, permanent Osteopathic Manual Practitioner to join our team, as an Independent Contractor. An OMP who has Registered Massage Therapy credentials as well would be an asset, but not required.

We use a collaborative approach to maximize the skills and background of all of the practitioners in the clinic.

Qualifications & Skills

-Completion of an Manual Osteopathy / Massage Therapy program from a recognized post secondary institution

-Valid certification and member in good standing with your recognized association(s)

-Must adhere to all regulations and guidelines as outlined by your recognized association

-Proof of valid professional liability insurance

Note

-Experience is an asset, but not required

Roles and Responsibilities

-Excellent communication skills: 1) to develop a rapport with clients, discuss health history, develop and execute an appropriate treatment plan 2) communicate with and/or refer to other health care providers, if required

-Excellent organization and time management skills

-Work collaboratively with our health care team

-Accurately collect and record all client information and treatment plans/notes

-Adhere to all of Maple Shores Health Centre's Policies and Procedures

We've got you provide the following to allow you to focus on your patients:

-A beautiful, furnished treatment room (desk, chair, decor, storage, hydraulic treatment table)

-Full reception services offered for you and your clients from Monday to Friday

-Social Media – website, Facebook and Instagram

-Wi-fi, phone, fax

-Debit/credit services included (administration collects payment)

-Online scheduling option, if applicable and desired

-Electronic digital recording system (JANE) and membership

-Client reminder emails and electronic forms

-Personal Protective Equipment if required for practitioners and clients

-Required cleaning supplies and cleaning services

-Linens and laundry services, if required

-Use of our logo branding for marketing purposes, business cards, gift certificates, etc.

Compensation

Competitive market value split- to be discussed in more detail
