Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Architectural Technologist, located in Kanata, ON. In this role, the Architectural Technologist will be responsible for creating detailed technical, working, architectural, and construction drawings. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with project teams to support the execution of residential construction projects, ensuring high-quality standards are met. The role demands precision, attention to detail, and the capacity to adhere to project timelines while following architectural and construction principles and guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Architectural Technology, including proficiency with applicable software and tools (i.e., REVIT)
  • Proven ability to produce accurate and detailed Technical Drawings and Working Drawings
  • Knowledge and experience in creating Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings
  • Strong understanding of local building codes, zoning bylaws, and construction regulations
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with project teams
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Diploma in Architectural Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Previous experience in residential or multi-family construction projects is an asset
