Architecture49 is seeking Senior Architectural Technologists to join our GTA team.

Responsibilities
- Producing and overseeing technical design and contract documents in compliance with Owner's Statement of Requirements, in collaboration with project teams.
- Working with senior team members to validate that designs and deliverables conform to technical guidelines, code requirements and regulations.
- Provide technical design solutions for facility construction including interior and exterior assemblies.
- Coordinating internal production teams.
- Coordinating with project sub-consultants.
- Providing technical mentoring and leadership to less experienced technical staff.
- Assisting with contract administration including site visits and working with construction contractors.
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in architectural and building technology from an accredited technical college.
- 10+ years' working as an Architectural Technologist for an Architectural consulting firm. Must have experience in commercial, institutional, transit, or industrial project types.
- Demonstrated substantial product knowledge, and an ability to detail architectural building systems.
- Construction site experience
- Understanding of current energy and sustainability requirements in Canada.
- REVIT software experience is necessary.
- Preference given to candidates with understanding of BIM principles & workflows; Microsoft 365 environment; construction site experience; and Bluebeam
