Role Description

This is a contract hourly (project-based) role based in Montreal, QC. You'll support the creation of premium consumer packaged goods packaging across materials like metal tins, chrome finishes, cardboard, and specialty papers. You will work on emboss and deboss treatments, print-ready dielines, and realistic product mockups that match the brand's luxury look. You'll collaborate closely with the creative lead to bring concepts to life with accuracy and clean execution.

Responsibilities


• Create packaging concepts and refined production-ready files


• Design dielines for boxes, tins, sleeves, and inserts


• Apply emboss, deboss, foil, and texture treatments


• Build hyper-realistic mockups that reflect real materials and lighting


• Work with metals, chrome finishes, card stock, textured papers, and matte coatings


• Ensure consistent brand application across all packaging


• Prepare files for printers and manufacturers


• Revise designs quickly based on feedback

Qualifications


• Strong experience in packaging design


• Skilled with emboss, deboss, foil, and tactile finishes


• Ability to design accurate dielines for print and manufacturing


• High expertise in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and mockup building


• Great eye for luxury minimalist aesthetic


• Experience designing for metal tins or rigid boxes is a plus


• Detail oriented with clear communication skills


• Ability to work fast and independently


• A portfolio that shows packaging work with real materials
