Lot Attendant – Bennett GM

Bennett GM is looking for a dependable and hardworking Lot Attendant to join our team. This role is essential in keeping our dealership lot organized, our vehicles presentable, and our customers' first impressions positive. This position is paid at $18.75 an hour and works Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm.

Position Summary:

As a Lot Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the organization, cleanliness, and overall appearance of our vehicle inventory and lot. You'll support both the sales and service departments by ensuring vehicles are moved efficiently, checked in properly, and displayed to reflect the high standards of the Bennett GM brand. This role requires confidence driving and parking a variety of vehicles, including heavy-duty pickup trucks. This is a full-time role paid at $18.75 an hour, Monday to Friday 8am–5pm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional dealership lot.
  • Safely drive, park, and maneuver vehicles of various sizes, including heavy-duty pickup trucks.
  • Park and move vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Assist with vehicle check-in, ensuring quality control and documentation.
  • Support the sales and service teams with vehicle movement, deliveries, and occasional showroom vehicle adjustments.
  • Perform light facility maintenance such as snow removal and lot upkeep, as needed.
  • Handle licensing pick-up and drop-off.
  • Ensure vehicle keys and workspace are secure and organized.
  • Maintain a clean showroom by wiping and dusting vehicles regularly.
  • Gas vehicles so they are ready for test drives and deliveries.
Qualifications:
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Confident driver with the ability to safely park and maneuver vehicles, including heavy-duty pickup trucks.
  • Ability to safely operate both manual and automatic vehicles (preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Dependable and punctual.
