What You'll Do: As an FST at AFL, your primary responsibility will be delivering exceptional customer service while installing and repairing advanced products related to home networking, high-speed internet, Optik TV, home security systems, and more. You'll be at the forefront of providing our customers with the future-friendly home (FFH) they deserve, and you'll also have the chance to promote and upsell additional services and products, helping to enhance their experience.
For our Field Service Technicians, the first priority will be to offer extraordinary customer service while installing and repairing products related to the future friendly home (FFH), home networking, phone, high speed internet, Optik TV, home security system, for our customers.
You will also find opportunities to promote and up-sell additional services and/or products that our clients offer.
What We're Looking for:
- Customer Excellence: You thrive on providing extraordinary customer experiences, handling both positive and challenging interactions with ease.
- Sales Savvy: You're comfortable with solutions-based selling, recommending the right products, and upselling services to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Physical & Mental Agility: You're up for a physically demanding role, including lifting to 60 lbs., climbing ladders/poles, working in confined spaces, and dealing with various weather conditions.
- Flexibility: Ready to work varying shifts (days, evenings, and weekends) to meet the needs of the business.
- Fluent Communicator: You're fluent in English, both spoken and written, and any additional language skills would be a fantastic bonus.
- Self-Motivated & Independent: You make effective decisions and thrive with limited supervision.
- Mechanical & Technical Skills: You have a natural aptitude for working with tools and tech, including working on ladders and with color-coded wiring.
- Team Player: You work well within a collaborative environment, and you know when to lead and when to follow.
- Safety First: You understand the importance of following safety protocols and rule.
Qualifications:
- Strong computer skills
- Clean abstract and valid Class 5 Driver's License
- Previous experience in sales and customer service is a plus.
- Must be able to work full-time in Canada (work permit, working visa, Permanent Resident, and or Canadian Citizen
- Bonus points: Experience or education in telecommunications
- Willingness to undergo background checks and obtain a Security Alarm Installer License
