In HALO Medical Clinic, the care of the patient is our first priority. We are seeking a Patient Experience Lead to work alongside our healthcare teams to ensure a consistently positive, respectful, and patient-centred experience across all our locations. Primarily based in our Courtice location and with flexibility to attend our Port Hope and Ajax locations when needed, this role focuses on patient experience, patient flow, communication, and service quality, while supporting our physicians, Nurse and MOAs in delivering care efficiently and compassionately.

While reporting to the clinic manager, key responsibilities include ensuring every patient has a positive experience, addressing patient concerns and feedback, supporting front office teams with complex or escalated issues, helping refine clinic processes, and fostering a culture of professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality. This role enhances rather than replaces the MOA position through leadership, coordination, and continuous improvement.

HALO Medical Clinic is a small but mighty dynamic team, and the successful Patient Experience Lead should be an excellent team player and not shy to roll up their sleeves when needed.

What You Will Bring

· Strong interpersonal, communication, and patient-service skills

· Previous experience in a busy medical or healthcare office

· Confidence handling sensitive situations with professionalism, discretion, and empathy

· Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, paperless clinic environment

· Strong attention to detail and professional telephone etiquette

· Comfort working independently while collaborating closely with clinic teams

· Commitment to patient-centred care, confidentiality, and high standards of service

· Proficiency with EMRs (OSCAR EMR an asset); Medical Office Administration training an asset

· Up-to-date immunizations as required for healthcare settings

What You Will Do

· Support and enhance the patient experience

· Assist with patient flow, scheduling, and communication

· Address patient concerns and escalate issues appropriately

· Contact patients with health-related information as directed

· Support MOAs and clinical staff with complex or sensitive interactions

· Uphold clinic standards, privacy requirements, and professionalism
