LiftWerx offers both specialized equipment and experienced personnel to perform corrective repairs on a wide variety of wind turbines. The majority of lifting services are performed using up-tower crane technology, which avoids the high cost and disruption of utilizing large conventional cranes on the ground.

JOB TITLE:

310T Apprentice Technician (1st or 2nd Year) (full-time)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a 310T Apprentice Technician (1st or 2nd Year) to join our team starting January 2026. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager to learn and gain hands-on experience working with heavy trucks and equipment in a professional, safety-focused environment. Experience or exposure to Liebherr mobile cranes is considered an asset, but not required. You will work alongside experienced licensed technicians and be given the opportunity to build your skills and grow within the trade.

LOCATION:

This position is based out of our Cambridge, ON office from Monday – Friday.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with inspections, maintenance, and repairs on trucks and heavy equipment.
  • Learn to use diagnostic tools and software under supervision.
  • Support licensed technicians with mechanical repairs and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas and tools.
  • Accurately document work performed and parts used.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Registered 310T Truck & Coach Apprentice (1st or 2nd Year).
  • Valid passport and ability to travel occasionally.
  • Own set of basic hand tools.
  • Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced technicians.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving mindset.
  • Reliable, safety-conscious, and professional work habits.
  • Experience with Liebherr mobile cranes or diagnostic software is an asset.
