Select Trailer Sales is looking for licensed 310J or 310T Trailer Technicians or an Apprentice Mechanic based out of our Cambridge location.

Shift Details: Monday to Friday, 7am-4:30pm

Responsibilities:

- Inspect, diagnose, and repair various trailer components including electrical systems, landing gear assemblies, trailer frames, suspensions, tires, wheels, hubs, axles, air and auxiliary systems, braking systems, heating and refrigeration systems, ventilation devices, and hydraulic systems

- Utilize hand tools and specialized diagnostic equipment for fault diagnosis and repair

- Collaborate with supervisors to review work orders and discuss tasks

- Perform scheduled maintenance services and test repaired systems

- Communicate effectively with colleagues, customers, and service managers

- Read and interpret operating manuals and service specifications

- Stay updated on technology advancements and enhance skills as needed

- Ensure accuracy in parts charging and maintenance software system entries

- Obtain and maintain required skills and certifications

- Perform preventative maintenance and rebuilds on reefer components

Requirements:

- 310J or 310T License (Apprenticeship will be accepted)

- Ability to work independently and within a team environment

- Organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented

- Proficient in written English with precise copy accuracy

- Clean driver's abstract
