Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks using POS systems such as Micros POS
  • Handle food preparation tasks including assembling food items and maintaining food safety standards
  • Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Operate cash registers accurately, handle cash transactions, and perform cashiering duties with basic math skills
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food handling and safety procedures
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality
  • Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times
  • Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies as needed

Qualifications

  • Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is preferred
  • Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
