Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Assistant to support our HR department in various functions essential to organizational success. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about human resources management, talent acquisition, and employee relations to contribute to a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, administrative experience, and familiarity with HRIS systems and HR software platforms. The position is paid and provides valuable experience in HR operations, project management, and employee engagement initiatives.

Duties

  • Assist with talent acquisition processes including recruiting, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new employees using ATS platforms such as iCIMS, Lever, or Workday.
  • Maintain and update HRIS systems like SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, UltiPro, Ceridian, or Dayforce to ensure accurate employee data collection and recordkeeping.
  • Support payroll processing activities utilizing payroll system by ensuring data accuracy and timely entry.
  • Coordinate training & development programs and manage scheduling for employee training sessions.
  • Facilitate change management initiatives by assisting with communication plans and project management tasks related to HR policies or organizational changes.
  • Handle administrative responsibilities including data entry, document preparation, and maintaining employee files with precision.
  • Support employee relations efforts by assisting in resolving HR inquiries and maintaining positive communication channels.
  • Contribute to HR sourcing strategies through research and data collection to identify potential talent pools.
  • Assist with HR projects related to human resources management, recruitment campaigns, and process improvements.

Skills

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft 365.
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms such as Sage HRMS.
  • Familiarity with payroll systems including Sage.
  • Knowledge of human resources management practices including employee relations, talent acquisition, and training & development.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction across departments and with candidates.
  • Data collection and entry expertise ensuring accuracy in HR records.
  • Ability to handle change management processes smoothly while supporting organizational transitions.
  • Administrative experience supporting HR functions such as interviewing coordination and data reporting. This Human Resources Assistant role is integral to fostering a positive work environment through efficient HR operations and strategic support initiatives. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, adaptable, and eager to grow within the human resources field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.36-$31.25 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 44 per week
