Driver/Cleaner

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Driver/Cleaner to join our team.

• Safely drive staff between job sites as scheduled
• Assist with cleaning duties while waiting for staff at job locations
• Support the team as needed to ensure work is completed efficiently

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of commercial or residential spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and custodial equipment to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards
• Conduct facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs or reporting larger issues
• Operate heavy lifting equipment or assist with moving furniture and supplies safely
• Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, restrooms, and common areas
• Follow established safety protocols during cleaning procedures and the use of power tools
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding completed tasks or any issues encountered
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs professionally and promptly

Requirements

• Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience preferred; familiarity with facilities maintenance is a plus
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment safely and effectively
• Strong time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during work hours
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
• Reliable transportation to reach the meeting place or business location.
• A proactive attitude with attention to detail in all cleaning duties
• Ability to pass any necessary background checks or safety screenings required for the role.

This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our clients and staff and includes both driving and cleaning responsibilities. The successful candidate must be willing and expected to perform cleaning duties at job sites when not actively driving staff between locations. Experience in residential cleaning or facilities maintenance is an asset. Reliability is critical — this position requires punctuality, consistent attendance, strong time management, and the ability to follow schedules and company policies. This role is best suited for someone who understands that driving and cleaning are equally part of the job and is comfortable supporting the team as needed in a fast-paced work environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.10-$21.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
