Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, maintenance, and mechanical systems, with the ability to diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle issues efficiently. Duties

  • Perform comprehensive inspections and diagnostics on vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, and system issues
  • Conduct repairs including engine work, brake services, suspension repairs, and electrical troubleshooting
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Interpret schematics and technical manuals to accurately diagnose problems and implement solutions
  • Perform vehicle assembly and disassembly as needed for repair or maintenance procedures
  • Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings clearly to customers
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
  • Assist in routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements

Requirements

  • Proven experience in automotive repair, preferably within a dealership environment or similar setting
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
  • Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams effectively
  • Physical capability for heavy lifting and working in various positions for extended periods
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly
  • Knowledge of automotive systems including electrical, engine, transmission, and suspension components
  • Prior mechanic experience is highly desirable; dealership experience is a plus
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred
