Dog Daycare Attendant

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced, dedicated and compassionate Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. As a Dog Daycare Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and supervision to dogs in our daycare/boarding facility. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who have a passion for working with animals and providing excellent customer service.

Duties:

- Supervise and monitor the behavior of dogs in the daycare facility

- Engage in playtime activities with the dogs, ensuring their safety and well-being

- Maintain a clean and organized environment, including cleaning up after dogs

- Administer medications or treatments as directed by pet owners or veterinarians

- Provide basic grooming services such as brushing and bathing

- Assist with feeding and ensuring dogs have access to fresh water at all times

- Monitor dog interactions to prevent any aggressive behavior or conflicts

- Communicate effectively with pet owners, providing updates on their dog's activities and behavior

Skills:

- Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for pet owners

- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments with confidence and patience

- Knowledge of dog behavior and body language to identify signs of stress or aggression

- Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting, as some dogs may require assistance or support

- Strong attention to detail to ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs in the facility

-Must be comfortable working outdoors
