Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing stock levels, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring the smooth operation of storage and distribution processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to inventory management. Bilingual skills and experience with retail sales or merchandising are considered a plus. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to efficient warehouse operations while providing exceptional customer service when interacting with internal teams and external vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability
  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate records
  • Operate forklifts safely for moving and organizing large or heavy items (training provided if necessary)
  • Assist with merchandising tasks, including product placement and display setup
  • Support retail sales activities by assisting customers and processing transactions as needed
  • Perform general cleaning and maintenance of storage areas to ensure a safe and organized environment
  • Handle cashiering duties at the point of sale when required
  • Communicate effectively with team members regarding stock status, shortages, or issues
  • Support warehouse organization through proper labeling, shelving, and documentation
  • Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization in all work areas

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in retail sales, merchandising, or inventory management is preferred
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification (training available)
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus for effective communication with diverse teams or customers
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods
  • Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and vendors effectively
  • Basic cleaning and maintenance skills are desirable but not required; training will be provided if needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.85-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 – 40 per week
