Job Summary

As a Test Automation Specialist, you will be accountable for driving quality; championing defect prevention and early defect detection by utilizing automation. You will also develop and maintain tests for API services and mentor other members of the quality assurance team on test automation techniques and best practices.

The Successful candidate's responsibilities will include:

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated load and performance tests for ERP application
• Build and maintain scalable, reusable, and efficient automation frameworks for performance testing
• Conduct performance, stress, and load testing for web applications and supporting APIs.
• Provide and Analyze test results to identify performance bottlenecks, capacity limits, and scalability issues, and provide actionable recommendations
• Collaborate closely with development, infrastructure, and business teams to validate system readiness and performance requirements
• Support environment preparation and test data setup required for load and performance testing.
• Mentor and guide QA team members on performance testing tools, best practices, and automation techniques.
• Support the development of regression test scripts for the new IFS tenant in collaboration with the QA team, based on approved business processes.

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

• 3+ years of experience in the Software Quality Assurance field, with a strong focus on performance and load testing
• 2+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and executing automated load and performance tests using tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or equivalent
• Experience analyzing system performance, identifying bottlenecks, and validating scalability and stability under load
• Familiarity with Salesforce and IFS ERP platforms would be advantageous
• Strong experience in performance testing of web applications and APIs, including SQL/database validation and result analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Load Testing and defect tracking in Azure DevOps Boards.
• Ability to analyze and report performance results, working closely with technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience with requirements analysis, test design, CI/CD practices, and cross-team collaboration.
• Participate in creating and maintaining regression and smoke test suites in collaboration with the existing QA team.
• Self-directed professional with strong communication skills.
• Certificate in Quality Assurance or Technologist's Diploma or a satisfactory mix of education and practical experience
