Lice Buster is a trusted mobile head lice removal service dedicated to helping families through compassionate, discreet, and effective care. We are growing and looking for friendly, detail-oriented people to join our team as Mobile Lice Technicians.
Position Overview
As a Mobile Lice Technician, you will travel to clients' homes to provide professional lice screening and removal services. We provide comprehensive training, so no prior lice removal experience is required. However, experience working with children, hair, or customer service is strongly preferred. This is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys helping families and values flexibility in their work schedule.

Responsibilities
- Travel to client homes within approximately one hour of your home base.
- Conduct professional head checks and lice treatments in a compassionate, non-judgmental manner.
- Provide support and guidance to children and families throughout the treatment process.
- Educate parents/caregivers on lice prevention and aftercare.
- Maintain accurate client records and treatment notes.
- Ensure all tools, equipment, and products are sanitized, stocked, and ready for use.
- Represent Lice Buster professionally in all interactions with clients.
- Communicate any concerns about a client's situation or health to management as needed.
- Uphold company safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle – ability to travel to client homes safely.
- Experience working with children and/or in hair care preferred – comfort handling kids and hair professionally.
- Empathy and patience – provide compassionate, non-judgmental care.
- Flexible availability – able to work evenings, weekends, or adjust schedule as needed.
- Strong communication skills – able to explain treatment, prevention, and aftercare clearly to families.
- Attention to detail – thorough in performing head checks and treatments.
- Professionalism – reliable, punctual, and respectful in all client interactions.
- Ability to work independently – manage appointments and client interactions responsibly.
- Pass a criminal background check – ensuring safety for children and families.
Location: Hamilton
Compensation: Hourly rate + commission. Hourly rate increases up to $22.50/hour after training.
