SALARY:
You will start at $20/hr, as your seniority and training increases, your salary will be approximately $22.25-$27/hr (based on base + commission model &/or strict hourly rate).
Opportunity for salary to increase based on your seniority.
- Base + Commission Model: hourly base rate + commission per moves on specific assigned tasks.
- Hourly rate: indirect tasks assigned starting at $22.25/hr
- Afternoon shift premium: $0.60/hr || Night shift premium: $1.00/hr.
Overtime Eligibility:
This position is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable labour laws and pursuant with collective agreement. Overtime is paid at the legally required rate and may vary based on hours worked beyond the standard schedule.
VACANCY TYPE:

SHIFT: Rotational Shifts (Every week): Monday to Friday
- Day shift: 7 am to 3pm
- Afternoon shift: 3pm to 11pm
- Night Shift: Sunday to Friday- 11 pm to 7am.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Picking orders for clients including: The Beer Store, Duty Free America and several major Grocery chains
- Ensure that orders meet the technical and quality standards
- Manage and contribute to individual and group Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Combination of Safety, Quality & Productivity Measures.
- Standards and targets – required to be met , regarding number of cases picked per day * Loading and unloading trucks
- Receive product from the major breweries (London, Montreal, Edmonton, Halifax and Creston)
- Follow FEFO (First Expired/First Out) and other inventory policies.
- Ship to customers in a timely manner
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to engage in physical activities and manual labor, as required, including but not limited to: prolonged standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling and bending.
- Ability to lift items up to 50 pounds repetitively for a full shift.
- Must be able to work for rotational shifts Monday-Friday (days 7am to 3pm & afternoons 3pm to 11pm); OR straight night shift Sunday-Friday (11PM-7AM).
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and competitive environment
- Ability to use different technology and Warehouse Management System products to order pick
- Forklift experience considered an asset, but not required
- Engage in physical activities and manual labor as requested, including but not limited to : prolonged standing, walking, lifting pushing, twisting, pulling and bending.
- Lift object up to 80 lbs.
- Climb a ladder/stairs.
- Work on slippery floor.
- Lift object higher than the shoulders.
- Operate a motorized equipment.
- Exposure to vibration
- Ability to wear all PPE as required: including safety shoes, glasses, bump cap, hearing protection (jewelry must be taken off)
- Able to work shift work (Day, afternoons, and midnights)
