Position Overview:

The Processing Equipment Operator will work as part of a team to provide superior service and stakeholder satisfaction through responsibility for the safe and efficient operation and preservation of equipment utilized for the purpose of tasks related to Glycol processing, while ensuring the well-being of self and all internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):


• Follow established guidelines for processing equipment operation with the processing facility


• Proper operation and maintenance of testing equipment;


• Monitor glycol processing equipment units to assure optimum production and efficiency;


• Perform quality assurance sampling of all production processes at regular intervals during shifts, by using correct sampling protocol as established by Inland SOP's and to ensure that all samples are compliant with all written company and Government rules and regulations;

Required Skills and Experience:


• Must be at least 18 years old;


• High school diploma or equivalent;


• Successful completion of all classroom and on-the-job training;


• Intermediate computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint;


• Ability to read, write, speak and communicate effectively in English;


• Ability to interpret documents including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals;


• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals;


• Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent;


• Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations;


• Basic knowledge of aircraft and how they perform;


• General mechanical competence and ability to effectively use hand tools;


• Driving record that meets Company insurance standards;


• Ability to maintain a positive, good-natured attitude;


• Ability to remain calm and perform under pressure and within fixed time constraints;


• A valid driver's license is required for this position.

Work Environment:


• Office environment with potential for remaining seated extended periods of time;


• Continuous use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse;


• Warehouse - physically strenuous, prolonged periods of time standing with exposure to noise (may be excessive at times), safe but potentially unpleasant odors, varying temperatures and humidity, in and around heavy moving equipment;


• Outdoor - limited periods of time standing with exposure to prevalent weather, dust, dirt, fuel, fumes and noise, in or around heavy equipment and moving vehicles.

Physical Demands:


• The position involves sitting and standing for extended periods of time as well as bending, kneeling, climbing, using hands to control tools and feel objects, reaching with hands and arms;


• May be necessary to work at heights up to 40 feet;


• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs
