About the Role
We're looking for a skilled Field Service Technician to join our client's Central Region service team. In this role, you'll take on a mix of installation, maintenance, and repair work on bulk gas supply systems, small on-site plants, and food freezing equipment. You'll also support piping installations and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys being out in the field, solving problems, and taking ownership of their work.
What You'll Do- Install, maintain, and repair gas distribution and cryogenic systems
- Perform pipe fitting, welding, and brazing
- Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics
- Troubleshoot electronic controls and instrumentation
- Coordinate contractors and oversee on-site work
- Work independently while maintaining strong safety and quality standards
- Journeyman or post-secondary education in Electrical, Instrumentation, Refrigeration, Welding, or a related trade
- 3–5 years of experience with cryogenic or atmospheric gas systems (preferred)
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and completing technical reports
- Available for after-hours calls, overtime, and travel up to 50% within BC and Alberta
- Self-motivated and capable of working outdoors in all conditions
- Physically able to lift up to 60 lbs
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety
