Baker (Entry Level) - (OPENING SPRING 2026)
About the Role
Our Entry-Level Bakers support the daily production of pastries and breads, assist senior bakers, and help maintain a smooth, high-quality bakery environment. Perfect for someone eager to learn and grow in a professional European-style bakery.
Responsibilities
- Assist with dough preparation, portioning, shaping, and baking.
- Prepare cookies, basic pastries, and simple components under supervision.
- Follow recipes carefully and support senior bakers with daily tasks.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary workstation at all times.
- Package baked goods, label products, and restock displays.
- Rotate inventory and store ingredients properly.
- Help unload deliveries and organize the kitchen.
- Work collaboratively with the bakery and café team.
What You Bring
- Diploma or certificate in Bakery and Pastry Program or equivalent experience is an asset.
- Strong interest in baking and willingness to learn.
- Early morning availability.
- Food Handler Certificate is a must.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and a positive mindset.
