Dispatcher
to join our operations team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and dispatch drivers, trucks, and loads to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Coordinate with drivers, customers, and brokers to manage freight assignments.
  • Monitor driver locations and load progress using dispatch software and GPS systems.
  • Communicate load details, routes, and instructions clearly to drivers.
  • Handle driver inquiries, resolve issues, and provide support while on the road.
  • Track shipments, maintain accurate logs, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Manage last-minute changes, delays, and emergency situations effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a dispatcher in trucking, logistics, or transportation (preferred).
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with dispatch/trucking software and MS Office.
  • Knowledge of DOT, safety, and compliance regulations (an asset).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
